For now, just wanted to let you that for Internet Marketing, instead of guest lecture, we will make it a bigger event and have a joint IBA-wide seminar.
It will be either in the next 3 days, from 3pm to 4:30 or 5:00pm.

Next lecture on Thursday, March 5th, will finally bring Indus Hospital’s Mr. Shakeen to give guest lecture on automation of Indus Hospital patient record system.

Update: Guest Lecture will be next week due to scheduling issues. The Lecture 13 is now posted under lectures and will continue the discussion on RFID
On Thursday, if all goes well, we will be hearing about the experience of IT team of Indus Hospital into converting Indus Hospital into a paperless envrionment; the first (and only?) to do so in Pakistan.
I will try best to ensure the discussion ends at 10am as I’ve been informed about your ‘field trip’ to a dairy facility.

Application of Electronic Commerce and automated in Health Care will be the subject of our first guest lecture for this semester.
Mr. Shakeel Akhter is the Manager MIS (CIO to make it sound more glamourous) of Indus Hospital, located in Karachi. Indus Hospital is 100% charity based. They have the distinction to be Pakistan’s first completely paperless hospital, a topic which was cover for the CIO Magazine few months back. You can read the story of Indus Hospital here.
