Though I’ve always had an academic bug installed inside me during the manufacturing process (the one’s that they say cannot be cured). However there were no literary outcomes of it except for some ramblings in letters to the editors, corrections of facts on WWW and educational blog.
Then in late 2008, Rabia Garib, among many things, the Editor In Chief of CIO Pakistan, offered to get me into a paid event for free by bartering an article for CSO, Chief Security Officer, a sister publication of CIO. Me being a memon took the deal, wrote on a subject that had become dear to me over past 6 months -the perception of risks for mobile payments versus the reality.
This started a series of articles I have been writing on Payment Systems, looking at International trends, probing into the reasons for lack of growth of electronic payments in Pakistan, and offering the industry free advice on how to multiply electronic payments in a short span of time.
Here is a collection of articles written, in their entirety. I will be happy if you find them useful.
